Dan Okehi | CHAIRMAN

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and also a Masters degree in Management, both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. An alumnus of Lagos Business School-Chief Executive Program (CEP 5), he is also an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London, Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Fellow Council of Registered Insurance Brokers of Nigeria, and a Fellow of the Enterprise Risk Management Association of Nigeria.

He also holds a PhD in Management from Walden University Minneapolis, MN, USA; researching on “Modelling Risk Management in Banks: examining why Banks fail”.

Dr. Okehi started his career in 1982 as an insurance superintendent with Crusader Insurance Plc, a life assurance specialist company, and speedily rose through the ranks culminating in his becoming the General Manager of African Development Insurance Company Limited in 1990 and later founding MD/CEO of two other insurance companies one of which was Guardian Insurance Company Ltd (GTI), when during his tenure, the company was the lead Underwriter of Shell Petroleum Company’s Deep Offshore Fixed Production Storage and Off-Loading Vessel, code-named BONGA.

With over thirty years experience in the Nigerian financial industry, he also worked in Bank PHB for four(4) years as the MD/CEO of Insurance PHB Ltd. He is an author of two striking books: Insurance Marketing & Strategies; and Modelling Risk Management in Banks: examining why Banks fail, an avid commentator on Insurance and Risk Management in Banks with over fifty published articles. Dr Okehi also developed recently a banking risk management Software called Brickred Banking Risk Software (BBRS). A Council Member of Enugu State University of Technology Business School (ESUT) where he is a part time lecturer in Insurance and Risk Management.

He recently won the Risk Manager of the year award 2016, and has been involved in facilitating many senior marketing, Risk Management and Oil & Gas Insurance courses in Nigeria. Dr Okehi is a Consultant to the National Insurance Commission on Energy Insurance, and until recently, Chairman, Imo State Agency for Community and Social Development (a World Bank assisted project). Dr. Okehi is currently CEO of Brickred Consult Ltd, a Lagos-based management/finance consultancy firm with specialty in finance, risk management, and oil/gas insurance underwriting; and also Chairman of Rehoboth Micro Finance Bank Limited.

Osondu Uche | MANAGING PARTNER

Osondu is a Tony Elumelu Foundation Mentor for the foundation’s Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) Programme. A seasoned entrepreneur with several years experience in the finance, consulting and real estate segments, he holds a certificate in Credit Risk Management from Technische Universiteit Delft (Delft University of Technology), the Netherlands and a first degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.He has been a Consultant Partner and Course Facilitator at Nexus International, Uganda, for some years where he anchored the Advanced Certificate in Credit Risk Management Program.

In the earlier stage of his career, Osondu worked for several years in various key capacities with a major commercial bank in Nigeria, First Inland Bank Plc(later FinBank Plc).

Edith Praise is the Head of RiskHedge Consulting operations in Ghana.

Etta Uche I Director

Etta Uche is a graduate of Business Administration from the prestigious Lagos City Polytechnic.
An experienced programmer, Etta holds certifications in Data Analytics from SISCO and is conversant with Business Intelligence applications as Power BI and SQL.
She has worked as Facility and Project Manager at VK Exalon Projects Limited.

Joseph Njuguna Maina | COUNTRY DIRECTOR - KENYA

Joseph Njuguna Maina [CERM, CFCP], heads RiskHedge Consulting’s operations in Kenya while also overseeing and providing visionary leadership for our operations in Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the rest eleven countries in the East African block. He currently serves as the Director for East Africa at the International Center for Professional Collections (USA), and he is a globally certified expert in risk management and financial collections. In his role as the CEO of CollectrKe, Joseph focuses on strategy, growth, credit risk, and debt management.

His passion lies in establishing lucrative connections between service providers and clients, showcasing a unique ability to navigate intricate business challenges. Joseph’s extensive network ensures that, even when he may not directly address your needs, he can connect you with the right people to meet them.

Damilola Obigbemi | DIRECTOR

Damilola Obigbemi holds a B. Sc in Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife.
A Chartered Accountant and Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), she also holds the Project Management Professional Certification from Ife Business School.
She has worked as resident and cost accountant in Adekola Ganiyu & Co, a private audit firm and RHS.
She currently functions as the Chief Financial Officer at DOHEEC Group.
